BIO

aliyah marr
Professional artist and designer; specializing in interactive and time-based media. After her training in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, she became an illustrator and then a designer, increasing her technical skills to include various software applications and scripting for interactivity.
She has taught design and interactive programming at top schools in NYC: Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts. She is currently involved in creating a body of work that explores new media as fine art. She has freelanced and taught art, design and interactive multimedia for the past nine years; now she is inerested in applying her technical skills to her fine art.
Educated in Europe, she has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her art work spans a broad variety of media, from traditional painting to interactive and time-based media, such as film and video.
Currently she is working as creative director for an action sports TV show -- www.planetx.tv -- and writing her first book in a blog online:

It is a book on the relationship of health to creativity, and all are invited to read the book as it is written: a kind of window on the author's creative process.
