ABANDON

A card from the water suite that indicates a need or ability to abandon oneself. On the positive side, abandon is a feminine aspect of surrender; an outward energy movement. As water has the ability to flow around obstacles and seep through containers, so the mood of abandon implies freedom moving forward. The flip side of this card may mean a willingness to give up too easily to the forces of life or to surrender to the will of those who surround us.
