GUILT Blame and its silent partner, guilt are the cause of much of our unhappiness. Next time you feel a need to blame yourself or another try tracking down the original thought or expectation that you felt. Having expectations or investments in someone wastes an enormous amount of our energy and time. We are the only creatures that are capable of making our thoughts real. We are so invested in our thoughts that we believe that our mental reality is more real than what is really out there. Thoughts of blame and guilt make a cage of our mental reality. |
